Hi,

I'm looking at getting a defender for a bit of towing and attempting to learn to drive off road.

Are the tomb raider defenders any good or are they a bit gimmicky ?

Mine was excellent, but I honestly can't tell you that the badges and chrome trim that differentiate TR's from other Defenders helped with towing.

It did look cool when towing tho if that's any help.

They look great and any extra they cost you'll get back when you sell it on. But tbh they really aren't all that different to any other Defender. Not in any area that actually matters.

As for off roading, be warned you can damage and scratch a vehicle while off road. Some terrain is worse than others. You may want to bear this in mind if you are spending the extra on a shiny road going one.

Don't TR 90s have a light bar across the top of the screen?
Won't last long down a leafy lane, and that will dent the Ltd Editionishess of it.
