Sports after Cataract surgery
Discussion
Just want some advice from those who has had surgery done regards recovery period.
I'm waiting to get it done and was advised that I can't do any sports full stop or anything that would cause pressure to the eye which includes everyday tasks from bending or lifting anything remotely heavy for 4 weeks.
I can't for the life of me think how I'm going to cope with this for 4 weeks...
Surely I can lay off for the first 1-2 weeks then gradually do some easy activities otherwise I'm going to go a bit crazy doing f-all.

Mrs GG received the same advice when she had her cataract surgery, cautious for the first week or so and then she just carried on with normal daily routine after a fortnight (she's not an adrenaline junkie though).
GG junior had his cataract surgecy at 8 weeks old, so he did nothing strenuous until about 10 months later.
