went to dream machines kent to buy the yellow cerb i have been after only to find out some git had bought it an hour before i got there!!!! so to cheer me up i bought the beatiful rose version, sitting on 18" rims with a extras list as long as my arm. been told it will out pull the 4.5, and on a test drive was not going to argue! AMAZING. previous owner was a director at tvr so has been well looked after. picking it up next saturday morning! the next week will be the longest ever as i am sure you all know!

Good luck, and at least you only have a week to wait. I ordered my cerbera back in March and only got it last week!
But I have to say it was well worth the wait.
I previously owned a '97 4.2 and did over 40K miles in 4 years and had to get another one.

I've been advised to run the new car in for 5k this time, keeping it below 2500rpm for the first 1k then 3000 rpm for the next 4k (hope I can afford to keep it that long!).
So if it's a low mileage cerb you're picking up I might as well pass this advise on.

Take it easy over the winter.

Is it the red one with anthracite wheels?

Very mate if it is.

BTW how did you find it? It's in East sussex.

Yeah I had a look at that one. Its got a full red interior if my memory serves me well. Apparently, I heard that Peter Wheeler had some personal input into this vehicle and it has been fettled to his own requirements - mind you this is only a rumour - still, adds some mystery to a stunning car.

Lee,

Welcome to the club, finally shifted your Z3

Having a car with factory involvement does seem a good thing, mine was owned by a friend of PW's at taken car of at the factory, certainly seems to be screwed together well as PWs involvement will mean you avoid havin a Friday afternoon car.
