Error message when posting via mobile website

Used to have this issue on my old phone, now with my new phone I am still getting it.

When viewing the mobile site, and posting a lengthy reply/edit, I get the below error message;

An Error occurred. Please click a link in the navigation at the top of the page to continue.
There has been a problem with content delivery. 417 Expectation Failed


If I change to desktop view, I have no issues. This is on android, latest release (jelly baby?). Had it on my old Samsung galaxy nexus, and again on my current nexus 4.

Anyone else get this?

I think he's using the third party mobile site. It's a problem the techies know about, but they won't be doing anything about it, as a new mobile site for the forums is due soon.

Switch to the mobile (beta) skin and it's here now..

Yes, happened to me too - couldn't post using my BlackBerry.

Getting on just fine today though.

Not using any skin, just oem nexus 4 setup. As for the mobile site, I didn't realise there were others?

Where can I download the beta one from? Browsing via mobile. Piston heads then swapping tabs to the desktop site to post is frustrating!

It's in the "My Preferences" tab, then select "Mobile beta" from the forum skin options, no download needed!
