Hi there, just visiting the Classics section, although I do think that my V8S is a Classic.

A guy at work has a set of 16" diameter, 8.5" width Wolfrace Slot Mags that he know fits the PCD on his TR6. Apparently they are reputed to have come out of the Triumph Competitions Department and may have been for racing TR8's.
Anyway they are too wide to fit his TR6 comfortably so is looking to advertise them but isn't sure if they would match a classic TVR PCD.

Anyone able to advise?

Doing a bit of googlin' looks like they may not fit -

V8S looks like it is 4x108- standard ford hub pattern
TR6 looks like it is 4x4.5" or 4x114 in new money

Also need to be aware of the centre boss size (adapters are available) and offset www.willtheyfit.com has a good graphic for different wheel/tyre combos.

Best thing is to go out with a tape measure and compare.

Hope this helps.

Vixens use TR6 rear drums/hubs and front hubs. The PCD is as per TR6. As for the offset etc required to fit a wider alloy on the cars, I don't know. I think they were originally fitted with 15x4.5 wheels (that's what is on my build sheet), but people do fit alternatives and there is quite a lot of knowledge on offsets etc.

M Series and Taimar are also TR6 hubs so if your friend is right about the PCD those wheels may fit a few TVR's. Obviousley at that size there may well be clearance issues, bodywork and/or suspension, steering and chassis components scratchchin

Can you get a picture, are they the "Classic" Wolfrace style as fitted to some M's and quite a few Reliant Scimitars?
