...still. Not an issue, but it's been like that for ages. It looks a bit naff.

What's professional pride got to do with it?

It's a browser issue, open the browser window wider and you'll be able to see 'Pistonheads' again, if it's that important to you.

As it's the weekend and it's not a huge issue it'd be worth bumping this on Monday, if you could tell us what browser etc you're using that'd probably help the techies too. And aren't you abroad?

It's usually that F1 magazine that covers it. Doesn't bother me as it doesn't interfere with content, but still...

It has been raised before.

Ipad2, Safari. The problem is that the banner ad is a set size, (you can see that it does not change in a browser moving the window width. On the ipad it is permanently that size.

Professional pride has everything to do with it. It isn't a browser issue, it's a design issue that came to the fore when the banner size was changed. The banner size was changed for revenue purposes but the necessary changes to the forum layout weren't made to make it look good. I don't really give a monkey's one way or the other, it's not my website that looks a little shoddy.

Are you using the new(ish) mobile beta skin? I'm on an ipad1 and the banner size is fine.

In fact I've just tried it and that's the problem. Rubbish in Big Blue, fine in mobile.

Android blocking the ad so I get a big black rectangle covering half the List on heads sign.

I've had the same issue on iphone & ipad mini with an anyvan.com banner covering part of the logo.
