I'm pretty sure that they are stuck in with sealant, you'll have to cut the old sealant then take them out through the inside of the wheel arch, can't remember if you have to remove the front wheels or if you can just put them on full lock to get access to a panel which needs to be removed.

That’s the way, but if you have the holes next to them cut out: 
Be careful as the very thin bit of fiberglass can snap off as you try to prise the indicator out, you can just see it’s missing in this rubbish pic, after I did just that when I was changing the lights years ago:
