I've been 'invited' by Getty Images through Flickr to be a contributor and they want to add 6 of my photo's (not my best ones...) to their library. I'm no pro tog, so am happy to be asked and have no issue with signing up to them as I get no revenue from my photos elsewhere.

I was just wondering if anyone else on here has signed up with Getty and what type of revenue they get (if any) from them.

Thanks.

They've just asked for 76 of mine.

Was quite tempted but they expect exclusivity.

That will give you a vague idea. It's very dependent on who wants to use your images, and how they want to use them though.

76!! That puts mine to shame!

You sell your images independently though don't you? If I did, then I probably wouldn't have signed up either, but personally I'm nowhere near good enough yet.

I've been with Getty through Flickr for about a year, currently with 78 images and have another 6 to add. I get about £50 every other month or so, not loads of money but better than nowt! You can sell you images that are with Getty, but only a limited volume, and only to private buyers, no commercial use.
