I started a thread a while ago about where to get replacement seat rails. Here's an update of how it worked out.

Three original rails were rusted solid such that the only thing that moved them was a lump hammer. The one that still worked was less than ideal. I decided that replacement was about the only option. This raised the question of what to replace them with.

I opted for the dual locking rails from Car Builder Solutions since they had a front to back hole pitch compatible with the Griff seats, although the adjuster handle would need some work to widen it.

The spacers at the front of the TVR seats didn't fit with the CBS rails, so I had to make some new ones. Fortunately, the CBS rails (more or less - accuracy wasn't a watchword in Blackpool in 1996) line up with the holes in the Griff floorpan.

I ended up making a new adjuster bar because the supplied one wasn't wide enough or long enough and tended to hit the seat base in operation.

Here's the parts. The rails as supplied, and I made the spacers, adjuster bar and rear brace.

And fitted to a seat.

I have tried them in the car and unfortunately the floor pan was not drilled accurately for parallel rails so only 3 out of 4 bolt holes are exactly right. This is simple to fix, but another job on the list...
