Nice looking motor, one of last, looks cheap to me given what's being paid for Sags. The Cerbera with the AJP8 is the daddy IMHO.

Put it this way. For a one that's really spot on I would pay 35k plus.

Would it be old enough to have material chassis corrosion?

My 2001 is perfect so I would suggest yes it will be spot on.

Dear Zed Ed,
That looks like a great car at a great price. Bespoke will not sell a bad car. My 03 chassis is perfect. It will be a great investment. You will not suffer massive depreciation (it may well increase in value if looked after) and have a fantastic car that makes you smile....get down there and buy it now before somebody else does!

Yes snap it up before these garages realise they are selling way to cheap and start putting their prices up. How often do you hear now, "does anybody know of a good cerb for sale", and the answer no.

Cerberas are ridiculously undervalued at the moment. They can't stay this low forever, especially when you look at how prices are creeping up on the other models. As others here have said, later chassis tend to stay in better condition, mine has no underseal anywhere and still looks factory fresh. The car in the ad looks lovely.

I can't get over how similar these two cars interiors are, the latter is my own.

To me, a 54 Reg Reflex Charcoal one with around 30K miles makes all kinds of sense.

Just make sure the engine and chassis are up to scratch too.

Kind regards
Simon

Tbh.. I think the values are being adversely effect by scare stories and urban legend about how expensive they are to maintain..

I aggree the cars are underpriced at the moment and you are right its probably due to the reputation. However they are not amazingly cheap to maintain if you don't have a decent sized garage and do not plan to do most of the work yourself. Two thousand a year I would suggest is the average if you go to a specialist each year. I can't help wonder if the low price of some of the cars listed reflects the owners knowledge that some serious attention is needed on them.

In general pay more at the start should lead to lower running costs. Or you could get lucky i suspose smile

If you hand any car over to a specialist all the time it will be expensive.. Mine is going to have a 2-3k year DIY BUT I am caught in the "whilst I am there" cycle, including upgrades..

I think they have an unfair rep vs. the T-cars and the like, probably mainly based on people who hand their cars over the whole time. Fundamentally they are all the same, and I suspect T-cars cost just as much but don't carry the same stigma for some reason. The Cerbera has the advantage of coming with the brilliant AJPV8 as well.

I think people also lose sight of the fact that it is a brutal GT car that you would have to spend 100k+ to beat for pace, even today.

Hi Simon...I think I have spotted the difference. The door colours are inverted. Do I win the spot the difference prize?
