Quick RRS question
Discussion
I currently have a RRS courtesy vehicle.
There's no manual in the glove box.
When I select cruise control, sometimes a small amber light shows just to the left of the green cruise light.
I haven't been able to look closely at it for fear of taking my eyes off the road.
Best I can describe it is a RR from behind with wavey tyre tracks and a fox's face in between.
The car would appear to slow itself down (when in cruise) depending on the speed of the car in front (please tell me I'm not imagining this).
The light in question may or may not coincide with this phenomenon.
Grateful for any pointers.
Cheers,
Eric

Sounds like ACC - Adaptive Cruise Control.
You have a little radar unit which will adjust the speed of the car to match that of the car in front. You'll have a couple of additional switches, on the LHS of the steering wheel, which will adjust the setting for the gap between you and the car in front:
<-> Will decrease the distance.
<---> Will increase the distance.
