Place to stay near oulton park

As the title suggests, looking for a recommendation for a nice hotel/b&b local to the circuit for a track day, will be about 7/8 of us I'd imagine.

Anyone want to suggest anywhere they've stayed?

Just driven past Oulton Park this afternoon, noticed a premier inn type of place £39 per room, but it was the usual bland accomodation, about 3 miles north on the A49.

We've used The Alvenley Arms a few times, friendly, very close to the circuit and they will do an early brekkie if you ask nicely

Hmmm, looks very nice and I would stay there but I can't see my mates pay up that much for one night, there trying to talk me into camping... There's nothing I hate more in this world. So I was think more along the lines of a travel lodge/holiday inn style place, cheap and cheerful basically.

last time I raced at Oulton we got a deal on this place at £50 a night was really nice, even had a pool! Its only minutes from the circuit.

Race team I was with last weekend for Lotus racing at Oulton was the Holiday Inn, Wrexham Road. £51 and they have a pool.
