The Egyptian Airline plane that was escorted to the ground after a threat was found taped to the toilet is back in the air.

Weirdly, there's no mention of anyone being detained...

Why would they be? You're assuming the person who made the threat was on board.

As much as you are probably correct, am I not right in saying that the crew are supposed to do a detailed check of all areas before passengers board?

If it was going to JFK why the fk are we accepting claims for asylum? I really do wonder if this country will ever just grow some balls, how about we just stick them back in the plane and let the yanks deal with them smash

Make them pay for the cost they incurred, including compensation to all passengers affected and the fighter escort. If they can't pay it, send them home. If they can pay it, send them home.
