A great compliment!!

While out for a blast today (while NOT spotting "Griffophenia" ), stopped and got a cup of cocoa from a vendor who then came out of his burger bar to have a chat with us. He knew a couple of TVR owners and had a passing knowledge with all TVR. He loved the Chim and then came out with the compliment - "how much did you pay of it?" "25k?"

I had given her a good clean yesterday so she looked spotless but when I told him 12.5k he was amazed!! He asked and Gussie delivered - a firmly planted right foot while he stood behind it with a huge grin

You see - a cheapo private plate and the public can`t tell the age

Well that's a bloody coincidence! When I stopped there which must of been after you two he said my car was much nicer than those others and must have cost more than them put together!!!!

Thats funny, I stopped at the same kiosk and he was telling me that he needed some new glasses because he kept on overvaluing cars.
