What are our feelings towards the 456?
Reliability and the such?
Running costs?
Nice small family long distance shifter?

Do a search of these forums. Lots of previous debates on the 456.

Summary

Superb car... can be costly if something goes wrong... hard to get a full warranty.

Sorry to hijack the thread but are teh 550s a lot better. I've always like them despite some people thinking they look like a supra

Only problem is you can get a nice 456 for around the £50K mark. A decent 550 is at least £25K more

Granted it's more cash but I've heard they are far easier on the wallet regarding running costs.
