Hi all, just become the owner of a lovely green 3r and have a few questions.
The first is about cabin temps. The vents always push warm air. I had thought that these would be fed from the outside, or are they grabbing air that's already heated by the main rad?
Or, does the tunnel cooling mod also reduce the air temp entering the vents?

Thanks in advance for help.

I had that problem when I bought mine Andy, afraid I'm not too technical but it was a sticky valve in the heater box and had to go back to the dealer to be sorted. I believe it's a common problem.

If they always push out hot air even with the A/C on, then it probably needs a refill.

Tunnel cooling mod will help

Vents are fed from the scoops in the front, in front of the front wheels. If the vents are always blowing hot air, your heater valve may be stuck open a slight bit. Unfortunately, to access the heater valve, you need to come up from below the car - remove the front louvered plate under the car, and you can push aside the hoses and reach the valve.

Yep it's OK with the a icon on, but that's wasting horsepower!
The most plausible is the stuck valve. First effort will be waggle the control and see if it will release a little more. Then I'll get underneath and mess with the valve.

Thanks
