Don't know it, but will keep my eyes peeled. May I ask why?

General road rage, I indicated displeasure at aggressive tailgating with "the beans" (I shouldn't have risen to it but to my shame I did) - this resulted in thrown fruit which hit me in the head and narrowly missed my 18 month old and the passenger jumping out to invite me to fight him and kisses being blown through my window.

A bizarre event, I guess I just want to express my apologies for angering him.

Aah, ok! Well, the whole incident sounds horrendous, tbh.

Aggresive tailgating, to me, tells me all I need to know about a driver, and indicates his poor road sense and awareness.
Discretion, particularly if you have a child onboard, is definitely the better part of valour.

I'd let it go. Do you really want them to potentially be part of the rest of your life?

I have edited the title to make not quite so specific - discretion being the better part of value and all that.

I shall keep a look out. I had a car rep convert his car up the rear of my land rover I had a few years ago due to tailgating.

Silver bmw 320 is probably the most common rep mobile on the road. Its embarrasing (as I drive a BMW) but there are some real idiots who drive the mid range BMW's without any regard to the rest of the road.

I think they suffer from white van man syndrome = drive badly, tailgate, pay no attention to anyone else, be a cock but remain anonymous due to the sheer number of them on the roads.

3 Weeks ago I added auto recording cameras to my car purely to record the crap behavior on our roads. Ive already managed to get 2 instances of road rage and a minor shunt on the A1.

Its not worth getting worked up about, try not to react, its not worth it.

(no offence meant to john above..its just my observations on average)

Report to the police.
I did, as this was happening a patrol car pulled up in the lane to my left (at this time the BMW was still alongside the other side but the passenger was back in the car). We asked the police to have a word and they told both cars to pull in ahead. The BMW parked, left his handbrake off and then had to run back to the car smile

I explained what had happened, apple core evidence in hand, but the rage chaps denied it all and said I was to blame for indicating they were w-anchors (which certainly didn't help the situation).

The police chap basically told us to chill, grow up and get on our way. We did and the BMW sped off towards Skipton and tailgated a few others as he went....

Typically this was the first time in months I didn't have the Roadhawk on because the SD card was in the house.
