At my back door this morning ...

Our poop book would indicate fox.

I'm surprised however that our greyhound didn't pick up any scent when she went into the garden this morning (she knows when a cat has been in her garden).

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

Too big I think.

Squared paper in the pic is 5mm grid so total length of poop is approx 8cm.

I agree with MC - looks very much like an owl pellet to me. Pretty sure a barn own or tawny could squeeze out a 8cm one if it needed too.

Tawnys are big birds: I sometimes get them on the roof and they make a very distinct 'thud' when hopping about up there.

It looks too dry to be a poo.

OP, does it smell? hurl
