Another silly question guys!!!!!

I am removing my rear drive shafts and want to know if the bolts that come through the brake discs from the diff will move when i start undoing the nuts or are they splined so they do not spin as it where.

Thanks Glen

Unless they come loose like one of mine did once - thankfully it was just possible to get an open ended spanner on the back of it.

Have a good look at the threads on them, they can corrode quite badly and replacement means a diff strip IIRC.
The nuts should be stiff-nuts, not Nylocs (as were on my car rolleyes) - the nylon in Nylocs melts due to the brake heat so you could find your driveshafts coming adrift!

They shouldn't spin but they may well shear so use plenty of wd40 beforehand. It's not a major job if you do get one break or some are corroded.
