I think I read it will be back from the British GP onwards. 12 episodes.

The cartoonists have been designing the car this year by the looks of it.

Well, they have to do something to divert attention from how crap their car is.

Agree,it was pretty poor. Something depressing going on at Mclaren. Also noticed that the press dont seem as interested? No real air time anymore.

I don't have Sky but Tooned was shown by them on the race weekends. Aren't they doing that this year?

Yes, it was shown Sunday about 12:15pm I think, same time as before, after the race build up but before the cars start to go to the grid.

I saw it after the race on Sky.
It's not very good is it?
My son (10) just looked at me blankly when it had finished.

I mean the brand as a whole? Is it the Lewis factor? For example, the amount of airtime that Mercedes gets far outweighs Mclaren and arguably Redbull this year.

A big possibility that Mclaren are the next Williams.

Definate pain this year, probs next, and a year to integrate with Honda.

3 painful years.

As a brand they have seemed grey dull and boring for a long time now. Its like they want to come across as clinical, machine like, but their performances on track and in the pits are anything but that.

Okay - not quite a cringe-worthy and dangling Lewis over a stage or dressing Coultard up in a Superman cape..

... but thats pretty poor.

Lovely graphics though.

ETA: Vodafone on the overalls still? I thought they had turned their back on Mc too.

You can see they are trying to rebuild and are certainly going through a period of change. Running without manufacture backing as a leading F1 team is near impossible in the long term. They are £30 million lite on budget compared to last year in the Mercedes no longer pay them, indeed they have to pay Mercedes. Although that will be slightly offset by Hamilton wages not being around anymore. Bottom line is development costs, and next year with the huge change to regs, i think that is why you have seen them move development across to 2014. The we develop till the end of the season will get toned down as well.
