R249PEL is she still out there?

Hi Guys,

A long time ago, I was a TVR nut before I got sensible and swapped her for a Mercedes CLK430 (sorry).

I'd love to get back into TVR as a second car, now that I have a bit more disposable income and will search Autotrader for something I like.... but, I just wondered whatever happened to my old beauty? Is she still out there and has anyone seen her lately? Pretty distinctive car when I left her, she was blue with black alloys, and a straight-thru alloy exhaust that could be heard from miles away (if you weren't at the wrong end and watching the flames from the back on full chat).

Does anyone know if she is still running?

Ooooh dear. I wonder what happened to her. Of course, she could be on a different plate. I had her running on RIL7778, but that plate went with me to the CLK and she was returned to R249PEL on transfer of ownership.

Any idea how a TVR would cope with the heat of the middle east? The aircon was sufficient at best in the UK, would probably need a hefty upgrade of the compressor and cooling unit.
