Hi, just wondered if anyone could advise what the access is like for PistonHeads camp site, just a little worried if its a long off road hike through muddy lanes, like Porsche Club a few years back... thanks.

PH Private camping on BN?

Easy, head to the circuit entrance and we're opposite that. There is a firm, albeit non-tarmac, road to the site from there. Takes about 5 mins maximum to get onto the site.

Unless Mr Inness has f****d up, yes the private camping on BN. it was the condition of the 'of road' entrance road I was worried about.

It's level and firm, a few dips but wide enough to swerve around them. In five years we've had all sorts on site without issue.

The good thing about BN is that it drains well, it might be a bit sticky bit nothing like BSJ.

My man on the ground in Bleu Nord has said that all the rain of the last few days has drained away, so the ground is in decent nick still.

Happy days.

The rain that started last night has finally stopped! we've had 4cm of water, but all the puddles on the private site have already gone. The majority of the potholes on the gravel access roads for Bleu Nord have been filled by the ACO, so it should be fine.
