Should I make a claim?
Discussion
My cat injured her tail over the weekend. We had to take her to the Petmedics and then the vet operated the next day.
total cost around £250 ~ 300
Should I claim off my insurance? Would that just cost me more in the long run or would I be stupid not to claim it?
This is the first year we've had her so I have no idea what happens when it come to renew!

Who are you insured with?
Petplan, for instance, say this;
"Each year, the premiums you pay are based on the cover you have chosen and the information you have provided about your pet's age, breed and address.
Please rest assured, the amount you pay is in no way connected to any claim you need to make for your pet. To put this into context, if you have two pets of the same breed and age, you will pay the same premium for both, even if one pet has claimed every year and the other has managed to avoid illness or injury."

That's my understanding also as I deal with dog behaviour claims and the same applies.Petplan, for instance, say this;
