it took them 2 weeks to dig the bl00dy road up too for this. On the otherside of the road everyday I see someone nearly get car-doored too.

I think its probably the worst. There was another one I saw in Hertford where I used to live which was about 1M in length and served no real use but I think this one wins...

Complete waste of cash agreed, probably created to tick a box for the number of metres of dedicated bike route. Surely it wouldn't have been hard to put the meter to the side though?
My current issue is a cycle route in Birmingham which the locals use to park their cars on as they don't have driveways. It's always blocked, and where it isn't cars it's a sodding bus shelter, complete with the usual attendant queues.

Right in the door zone of those cars and you have to stop for the traffic waiting at the junction! Waste of cash. Would make a good 'cycling facility of the month' contender.
