Engines/rear ends taken away from the Lotus pit by truck. A second truck is here. Driver tells me he is here to take both cars #lm24

there is a man here with paperwork naming Kodewa issued by a Judge in Ecommoy. Much negotiation and telephone calls.
So it would seem the same old story follows the Kodewa lineage.

any updates on the situation this morning?
Must be some real bad feeling here because the components seized are probably worthless absent the Kodewa Lotus package going ahead. And not allowing them to race will have massive financial ramifications, meaning that the company that has seized parts will be even less likely to get paid.
Even if they seized the entire cars, they aren't going to be worth much as they haven't been developed yet and the performance so far has been pretty underwhelming.
Fingers crossed something can be worked out which keeps everyone happy.

Twitter feeds are saying court decision later today.
I'd say performance has been pretty good though, especially as it is a full 2014 car, running on an obviously (!) limited budget. Spa was a massive improvement over Silverstone. It's always Kolles though. It just seems to be a consistent factor in teams that he is associated with, so it makes you wonder why suppliers get involved.
Interestingly, the manufacturer of the chassis, Adess AG, have already announced a P1 chassis for next year and a customer P2 offering, the Kodewa name not being mentioned in the press releases.
I really do hope it can be sorted out though, as I really do think they are a nice looking P2 car.

Judge has ruled that seized parts be returned to Lotus, so they're back in business.
Looks like fictitious claims for unpaid invoices were made.
