Hi Peeps..Apart from the obvious of silly boyish grins what has your wedge done for you..We spend forever maintaining..fettling..Swearing and cleaning our wedges and the amount of money spent doing so is each mans secret..But is there something special that your wedge has brought you..I must say that delilah has helped me shrug off a long term illness that plagued me for 15 years..She has brought me new and wonderful friends..Has given me the ability to help others...Helped to bring some needed help to certain charities..Helped me win a personality of the year award...Put smiles on the faces of people who come in to contact with her...Been featured in a magazine...Brought the joy of motoring back into my life...Been a cure for road rage and last but not least helped me find my father after 35 years..What an amazing car...Thank you Trevor...Ziga

I think Zig right, since buying the Wedge we've been to places we would normally not have gone to and met up with some excellent friends along the way and will stay friends for some time to come.
All down to the Wedge.

Whem My Wedge stays at my parents garage, Dad likes to run her up until she is at temperature and the fans kick in on a sunday morning.
Sadly, we have a church opposite the cul-de-sac my parents live on, and the garage entrance is facing the back of the church.

Dad also likes to give the throttle a little "blip" to make sure she is running ok.
Given the fact the exhaust is pointing directly at the rear wall of the church, the sound is amplified by the church. Needless to say the Wedge isnt welcome in the eyes of the Church !!angelevil

Mine got featured in a "Pop Video" for "Something Else" by "I am Harlequin" (search on youtube for the "official" video...)

It also got me to Classic Le Mans 2010, somewhere I had wanted to go for YEARS but never quite made it, till I got the wedge.

It has also been featured in a few articles in Local (to the event not to my home) papers like the Cornish Guardian, and also in at least 1 car magazine (thanks to me being at Chelsea Auto Legends in it).

And last but not least it has featured in the Calendars organised by a certain Zig man....thanks for that.

None of my previous cars have gotten quite that much attention.

Apart from meeting a great bunch of people (obviously you included mate) my wedge has made me feel like I am 18 again. Not that I could have afforded a wedge in 1990 or in fact the insurance but when I get into the drivers seat and fire her up and start driving it's all biggrin for me biggrin
The only drawback is my fuel bill (I drive my wedge nearly every day and will think of any excuse to take her out) but life's too short to worry about that biggrin

Besides all the grins, funs, new friends and interesting conversations with strangers, last summer she gave a good ride of two months straight, being ~5000 miles, while my daily rider's engine was being totally rebuilt. It's good to have at least one reliable car in the fleet biggrin.
