I upgraded to Nitrons a year back and still have the old Bilsteins (3 x red and 1 x black) in my garage.

Is there much of a market for them?

Difficult to say. The trouble with used suspension is that it's unknown provenance so would put off many buyers unless they knew you personally.

They worked fine when I took them off, just wanted to upgrade.

More just after clearing them out and a little bit of beer money than making fortunes wink

Postage costs to UK may be more than they are worth......is your beer that cheap?

Oh, I'm not doubting that, Mattt. It was more a general comment about the provenance of used kit in general, rather than a comment on your specific coilovers.

I think there is a small market for original equipment parts, when cars get older and the parts become hard to come by/originality is favoured amongst collectors you may find a willing buyer but it might be a long wait!

I still have the GAZ nickels in my garage from when I upgraded, I just keep them spare in case I blow up one of my current ones, I assume even if I got them sent back and rebuilt etc, I wouldn't make any sort of profit?

I toyed with the idea of having the Koni TA dampers and H&R springs from my old Corrado rebuilt, but came to much the same conclusion. I really should sling them in a skip at some point along with loads of other junk that I have.

I'd keep them in case you ever need to send the Nitrons away for a service - means you can at least stay on the road.

That was the original plan, however car in Australia and these are in Essex!

Too expensive to ship them out.
