Hi guys,

Thinking of getting back into a turbo after a few years out.... Wondering what the view is on the 997 turbo (specifically the cabriolet) prices once the new 991s start arriving (in sept I think?)

Cheaper if loads of current owners dump cars to upgrade.

More expensive / the same if owners keep cars and people realise bit of bargain vs new version.

NB. Apply to any thread on new model cars wink

Supply of used Turbo cars likely to increase once the new one appears and this will need to be absorbed or else prices will weaken.

Like the new GT3s, the new one won't start arriving until the end of '13 and initial allocations are apparently quite small. And, it will be £130-140k +

So, prices will probably fall steadily, not overnight.

I bought my 997.2 Turbo in Jan this year and looking at the classifieds etc, there seem to be so few on for sale, and the
Rice has actually firmed up quite a bit. That or I negotiated well.

Also been looking at used 997 TT's. Saw these two low mileage models up here in Scotland and think they are a performance bargain.

The Arnold Clarke car looks very good......... if you can live with the interior colour.
