Rear brake pads - 2008 V8V Roadster
Discussion
Hi
I have just had mine done. Whilst I was down at Micheldever Tyres getting some new tyres they mentioned they could change the pads on my Vantage. I supplied the pads and they said it was an hours labour @ about £60.00.
However when I went to get them done they said discs needed replacing (which they did), but the caliper pins got jammed in and they would not change them as they did not want to damage a caliper. So ended going to Aston which cost me an hours extra labour for them to sort the pins out, and they also did the discs too.
If your pins are good they say its an easy job. Nice bunch of guys there too.
I got the Pagid pads from Eurocar Parts. They were about £140.00 and they are the same as what the dealers use as I checked with them.

IIRC Lunablack did a youtube vid on how to do it
Actually pretty easy
Can't be that difficult then Actually pretty easy

Luna also says that if you are in ANY doubt do NOT dabble with your brakes. You're not talking about your trim here. You only get one life.

If people got 2 lives, you would be twice as rich & nearly as wealthy as MG's wife
