A very expensive but interesting oil especially when looking at the problem of bore scoring. Any experience / advice on the use of this oil. Hope Baz will contribute.

I believe Hartech use/recommend. There's a recent thread about it somewhere on this forum.

Just put the Motorsport stuff in my 996 GT3 at its service two weeks ago.

£250 mind. That was for 12 or 15 litres and my gear oil though.
I used Woodcote Automotive. The owner has a 993 and gives a discount to Porsche owners.

Can't really say how good it is. It's a slippy liquid that now lives in my engine and my engine still works. Similar to the oil that came out then, in many ways.

HTH. biggrin

Hartech recommend it in 5W-40 and 10W-50 for our cars.

I use 10W-50 in Summer and 5W-40 in Winter.

Seems fine and if it gives more protection then great, it however does not give any more power, I actually did a before and after, the dyno results and plot were un-changed.
