Hi

Well I had a great evening, I decided on Monday that I would first try and get into the drivers seat of a wedge, with out any help!
The idea was to see if:

1. To see if I could.

2. To see if I could depress a clutch pedal.

3. If I did 1 & 2 then take a geared car out for a drive. folowed by the ACE on Wed and the local TVR meeting tonight.

Well I did 1 & 2 OK but to be honest it was very hard pushing the pedal down and after doing it four times my left leg was a bit sore (A bit of an understatement) So its was back into the 280i Auto which was still a great feeling driving it around St Neots on Monday!

Unfortunaly my leg was so sore when I went to Hospital on Wed they were not happy and it felt like I was keeped after school for being a bad boy as I didn't get out till just after 6.00pm on Wed. So the ACE was not going to happen.

Well tonight was going to happen no matter what!

I went down to the garages got the 280i out, and yes the moment I got into the car it pcensoredd down. So roof off motoring was not going to happen, but I still went to the TVRCC meeting (the first in 20 mths)

People we very pleased to see me and passed on the usual congraths etc. They even said how the apprecaited the short article I did in this months "Sprint" about the "Birthday Boys" plus the advert for BBWF great it got the event across.

Well it was a great evening!

Apart from the rumberling nearside rear bearing, so into the workshop tomorrow for two new bearings so I can start driving a wedge/TVR again! clap

Andy

Nice one andy..I know you are determined to drive again but you must be really careful as you could end up doing more damage than good..You cant rush the healing process..I nearly severed a finger and that took three years to heal up and it still hurts now and that was 25 years ago!...Ziga

Nice one Andy. Take it slowly, one day at a time and you'll get there. All the best.
