My Addiction...

So last night we got the race car finished... giving me the perfect opportunity to take it home and take some pictures of the toys together!!

The E30 is a lightly breathed on 318is that I won the 2011 A2 Scottish hillclimb championship in along with winning the newcomers championship and taking a record on the way,

The e36 is CSL Powered and was built for SMRC at Knockhill and will be racing it for the 1st time in its current state this weekend (Excited much)

and finally.... the e92 is my road car!!

I think I may have a bit of an addiction to the ///M !!!!

Ah cool, lovely CSL you have there! I was enjoying the cruise out of Amsterdam staring at you car!

Yeah its B1 I will be entering. Im offshore at the moment, but the car should be ready soon so ill be out testing as much as possible. What sort of times have you managed in the E36? When you say CSL powered is it GS airbox and cams on an M3 engine?

I have seen you posting somewhere before about the corrado - that will be great (not often you see 2 'raddos on a grid!)

Its a CSL head on it (old head had problems, so we got a whole one from someone on M3 cutters out of a CSL - but I guess its just the cams that make the difference between the 2)

Aye Geoff steel box, specialist components ECU and various other things, If I can find the file with RR printout I will post it up too!

Awesome.

Had a hankering for an E36 race car for a while, but decided to stick with the corrado untill i finish building it and race it at least once. Seeing this at knockhill is going to make the want so much worse haha

a wee update after the weekend ;-)

I ran out of petrol in Qualifying on sunday in the e36, started off race one at the back of the grid 16th I think, managed to get up into 5th overall and 1st in my class, pretty ahppy considering the conditions,

race 2 I got up into 3rd off the line and finished in 5th overall and 1st in class again, the big boys in the class above just had so much more on me down the straight sections, but then again it was to caterfeilds, a noble and an EES 'charged M3 all on slicks vs me in my NA s54 on road tyres!
