What 14" tyres for touring?
Discussion
What tyres are available for 14" wheels?
I have 2 sets of wheels 13" & 14" with both coming up for new tyres, I run 48r on the 13"
and want to keep it that way, the 14" I tend to use on the road as it lifts the ride height
and that's handy on the road as my car runs quite low.
I'm hopefully of on a trip around France & Italy at the end of August and was going to buy A021s
but I see they don't come in 14"
Can anyone on here recomend an alternative?

I bought a set (5) of 185/60/14 Falken ZE912's to replace my decade old original ZV1's that were getting as hard as nails with no grip, wet or dry. Very pleased with the price (£260 - 2 years ago) but also performance especially in the wet. They also have small edge/rim protectors and while reviews on "normal" cars suggest the sidewalls buckle on cornering, on a lightweight 7 the ride is superb. OK, not sexy to look at and not soft like Yoko's, Toyo's or CR500's but for the money they are worth a look.
When I bought my Seven it had Avon ZV3s on it which never got worn down. They're still on the old wheels I have in the garage.
Admittedly mine has the small 1.4 engine so I wasn't going to trouble their lack of grip, but they were dependable rubber over a long (albeit relaxed) tour. Plus they grip well in the wet so can't complain there.
