Need to source a range of very compact single port ADSL router/firewall for fit inside a home networking cabinet I am selling.

It will plug into a small 8 port switch I have found (12x6x2cm) so I do only need the single output.

What spec should I be looking for and anyone know a good source?

try the Netgear DG632 - can run in router or modem mode, built in firewall, USB or ethernet, ADSL2+ upgradeable

Thanks Bogie (SELOC Fame?)

Still a little big for my needs.

Ideally looking for something sort of 8cm x 12cm ish.

A tall order I know, but its good to have ideals!

yeah - Im on SELOC...didnt know I was famous though also hang out on Tuscan and Elise boards here though.

Dunno with the modem - you may find some USB only ones that small, but Ideally you want ethernet too. I think the Netopia Caymen is very small...but expensive - about £100 IIRC

Thanks bogie.

Price is less of an issue than space, if I can get it inot the home networking box that is a winner.

How big a space is it fitting into? What ventilation will be available? My Router gets a little toasty and needs suspending to ensure a good airflow through it. something to bear in mind.
