I wasn't aware they called them 'M12' or 'M400' over there? Maybe pre-Rossion?

Indeed they did. Then they brought the rights to the design and created the Q1

Thanks guys. I knew there were a handful of pre-Rossion M12s but forgot about the M400s. I bet turning up at a US car meet in an M400 creates a crowd (as it does here in the UK - but more so I suspect).
