I see no less skill involved in creating a great image in photoshop compared to the process of producing the original. It's just part and parcel of photography in the 21st century.

I take the photo and get the motion using my rig (6m carbon fibre) then I get rid of the pole and reflections in photoshop and adjust the colours a bit. Although a lot of my images have a lot of photoshop in them, this one doesn't have too much. I do enjoy using photoshop and it's one of the pieces in the puzzle that makes my photos unique. Thanks for the kind words above, LuckyP really is very lucky with the CGT, it's amazing!!

thats interesting, and a very good result.

if the shutter speed is 6 seconds (is that right, seems vey long?), i guess you only need the car to move a couple of meters to get the blur. how do you keep the car so sharp? is it critical that you ensure no movement/flex in the carbon mast?

I might be talking codswallop, but as someone with an interest in snapping myself, I think the low ISO setting and moderate aperture allows for a longer (safe) shutter speed.

Must admit, 6 seconds seems like a long time to me, but I'm not the expert here.

6 seconds is correct, it's all down to setting up the rig well and good technique for getting a perfectly sharp shot.
