I'd take a punt at the same weekend 21/22 of June. It's usually the 3rd weekend of June.

That's what I'm going for. It would put it at the same weekend as this year.

I'm going to book the whole of June off for next year when I get in work tomorrow as every year I've planned to go they seem to send me away.

Lycian events site on the porsche curves is great (typing this from there now). Well organised, great showers/loos and onsite catering. Good security too and only 50 yards from the track.

Le Mans is always the 24th weekend of the year, no?

As for venue, I would respectfully suggest the PH campsite. 24 hour security, hot showers, proper toilets, fully catered, (if you want it) a big beer/TV tent, free wifi and a 5 minute walk from Maison Blanche entrance. Seemed to me that there were plenty of very happy punters there this weekend, despite the weather and on track events.

I think its going to be the 14/15

2012 - was 16/17
2011 - was 11/12
2010 - was 12/13
2009 - was 13/14

Most of the times, when the FIA doesn't decide to hold a GP in New Jersey, it's being held in the second FULL weekend of June. So my guess it will be 14 and 15 June.

need confirmation on F1 dates ( which typically sets everything else) as Le mans will never be the same weekend as an F1 race in future, shame as loved watching Jensons win at canada a couple of years back whilst it was pouring down with rain in Le mans.

Seconded - Out of our party of ten, all agreed that it was the best we have stayed at. Good, clean toilets and showers, fairly good location, superb pre-erected tent option (really top notch), a huge beer tent with wi-fi and although right in the middle of things, no rowdiness. Apart from possibly having more flexible eating options which may be addressed next year, it was spot on.

A big thank you to Brian at First Tickets, Lawrence (sp?) who sorted the tent package, and Stuart, Garlick & Co from Pistonheads for giving the site added credibility.

This just got posted by Midweek Motorsport on Twitter:

So possible clash of dates UN 2014 between #N24 and #LM24 .. At best its back to back with LeMans first!.. Oh joy.

Booking the two most likely sets of weekends off and cancelling the leave as and when confirmed.

Personally think it will be week earlier next year.

Hoping it will be the 14/15th so I can tie it in with the 70th anniversary of the D/day landings the weekend before Friday 6th June.
I don't think they should bow down to Bernie Ecclestone, Le Mans is way bigger than an Austin grand prix or similar event.
