I'm in my early 30's and according to my wife should have grown out of Lego many years ago. But how old are you other Technic builders?

I reckon the age printed on Lego boxes refers to mental age, not physical smile

I'm 53 and was delighted when my wife bought me the Super Car for Christmas and that will have been the first time I've touch Lego since I was a kid.......now I'm hooked so my list so far this year

8070 Super Car
9396 Helicopter
42000 F1 Car
42006 Excavator ( a great model and IMO the best value)
9395 Recovery Truck
8069 Backhoe Loader

Done the B build of the Super Car up to now but a fortune to print off the instructions in colour.! So six builds in six months......................

So Forget about Age just enjoy....................thumbup

The lego is the least of my problems. I'm 29, still skateboard, have the lego technic, fifteen Nerf guns and a shelf made from meccano

I've been doing these since 1977 - I cut my teath on the red tractor 851 and had the original 4. The new cran eshould be interesting as a first venture back in to Technic and studless.

I'm 49 and two colleagues and I are holding a series of technic challenges. Our first was a dragster powered by two elastic bands, then a tractor powered by 4 elastic bands having to pull 1.5kg on a railed sledge across carpet. Next up is Lego sumo!

I have 4-5 of them in my parents loft back in England if that counts. Most of them came with the Arctic Rescue Unit:

45 but lego makes me feel 13 all over again and love these darn things. Mostly collect technic and star wars and it helps having a eager 11 year old.
