Camcorder advice
Discussion
My wife has a good stills camera set up (Canon 1D MK IV, selection of L lenses etc) but wants to shoot video.
The video will be:
interviews
action shots (fast moving objects)
We have looked at using the Canon for this but it is let down by the very poor audio.
So, either we add a stand alone audio recorder to the Canon, or we go for a video camera.
If we go for a video camera, it needs to have decent audio controls. One channel for fx and the other for a wired/wireless mic. The video is for a YouTube channel, so not necessarily looking for top HD quality.
Any suggestions please, without having to sell a testicle (me, that is, not her!
)
Thanks!
Edit to add: we were consider this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TASCAM-DR-40-Linear-PCM-... if we were going to use the Canon. Anyone shot on a set up like this?
