White fake Bentley

Did anyone else at the British welcome see a Bentley continental with a massive black spoiler bolted on? I was thinking it may have been fake, one big reason was the tiny front brakes and celica style exhaust, If so what was it based on anyone know?

Yes we saw that at the CBW . Judging by the interior i'd say it was a Supra underneath .

Got close to it when it was parked up at Maison Blanche - it was a pretty shocking job close up but TBH it still had white filler stuck to the wipers so may only just have been finished.

We thought it was a Supra underneath too. The back end was just wrong!

Yep, he was camped up near us in Maison Blanche, so we had plenty of time for a closer look. Up close it actually wasn't remotely convincing, the rear three quarters was especially odd looking. Deffo a Supra underneath. Great mock up from a distance though

ICarCheck says it's a 1992 Supra. Ashamed to say i saw it several times and never suspected it! I blame the beer...

I see Bentley soon put a stop to it being produced. I just don't get why anyone would bother with it. A real one is not particularly aspirational these days anyway.

Agreed. Early cars are going for 25K now. Why bother with a kit?

Window line gave it away quite quickly with the supra origins. Front end looking back in rear view mirror it is fairly convincing but any other angle it isn't.

What I don't understand with these types of cars is who are they designed to impress. If you care about cars you know it is fake and if you don't care then you won't be bothered if it is a supra or Bentley. And it is too expensive to do 'as a laugh'.

They say beer makes unattractive women stunners, but I didn't think it would make a Supra look like a GT. Even my old man, who travelled down in a GTC, didn't notice!

I'd like to hope that if we'd seen it close up, or from the rear, we would have called BS...
