Well lads, bit the bullet and put them in at BJV engineering (flaunden) for a tosh up.

Agonised for hours over which colour to paint the centres (for those of you who don't know me, know I have a white series 1)

In the end, I have opted for gloss black, with a diamond cut (non lacquered) rim as I have seen it on two cars the same as mine.

I have no pinstripes (do not like em anyway) to match.

Roof and interior is blue.....but NEVER drive with the roof up, so its rear elephant!!

I will post up pics for your disapproval early next week as I am in Kernow with the wife this weekend in the family hack.

They have a good set up at BJV and a lot of business (high end) leading me to believe they are good at what they do.

Samples look great.

One of mine is in a bad way corrosion wise...and one other is out of line....but they reckon both are repairable.

Wish me luck and I shall reveal the cost after judgement.....

How ironic,

Just looked at thread "wedges in adverts" and the one by the bus is what mine will look like....
