ESP module trouble...
Discussion
I've been having problems with the wife's 2007 Mercedes A Class, where the engine management light comes on, amongst ABS and ESP warnings. The car has been on limp mode for a few days now.
I've had the car plugged in today, and apparently there is no communication from the ESP module, suggesting it is down and needs replacing. The mechanic checked the fuses, and the wiring, just in case it was a loose connection, but no luck. The only option is to replace the ESP module, which in total, will make my wallet lighter by over £1200!
Is this right? Has anyone had this done before? Or is there an alternative to this?
Many thanks!
