2.9 V6 EFi won't start!
Discussion
Does anyone know a way to find out why (and how to rectify) I have fuel on the fuel rail but no fuel at the injectors? I have a good spark and fuel pump provides the correct pressure. I am suspecting the EEC-IV but I am loathed to replace it if it isn't the problem due to the cost.
Grateful for any suggestions and if anyone in the Fareham area has a Gunson/Ford ECU fault finder willing to lend/with or without owner.
Thanks
Mark

I would have said check the crank sensor, but as you are getting a spark that seems unlikely. Check the EEC has power to all the pins that it should.
The EEC-IV has a "slow code" readout function on a 3-pin plug, which is sometimes situated near the battery. You short 2 pins and read the code as a series of pulses on a lamp or voltmeter. I'm sure if you Google around you'll find the relevant stuff.
