Funny-ish Vandalism
Discussion
Somebody wrote on the passenger window, in the rain, and it dried..."TVR U C***T".
I couldn't help but laugh. However since I live in a block of flats with an enclosed private car park I can't help but it feel it wasn't joe public walking along but actually somebody in one of the flats...ye bastards.
Anybody else been subjected to funny/rude comments? No horror stories please!

The use of that word is totally unacceptable!
I don't think you needed to spell it out. This site is, after all, frequented by users of all ages.
... and people who miss the joke.
You didn't see the unedited post so I'll forgive you your mis-directed comment.
Dont worry, no one is being intentionally gratuitous. I hate the 'C' word too but to be fair he's blanked it out so I dont see a problem. Plus the joke was that he put 3 *** stars insetead of 2 **, hence the misspelling comment.
(well, I thought it was funny)
I cant see the post editing you mentioned either. I thought the forum software always put an edit note like this:

The original post was deleted and my quote of it was edited by Al - you can see his edit.
I hate seeing the word in print and it is totally unnecessary in here. Sorry to go on about it.

I think the point is that this site is accessed by youngsters as young as 7, since this is car enthusiast site for all ages not a over 18's only website. Then try explaining what it is to them after they ask what it is, then having to go to their school after they have called one of their friends or even the teacher one. Would this then give the impression to the school that you are a bad parent? Probably, so lets use the
bits or blank out such phrases with asterix's ourseleves as adults we will know what is missing so don't need it in full thanks.

Ah the slippery slope of PCness. I don't particularly like the unnecessary use of it either but will defend with my keyboard the right for anyone else else to do so.
one of the most appealing virtues of Pistonheads is it's ability to raise a middle finger to such nonsense
