Problem with Sony TV

The Sony TV in my living room has stopped providing a TV guide. I think it was called Guide Plus and when I last used the TV a few weeks ago, it was fine.

There's a Sony TV in the bedroom that has another type of TV guide and that's working fine.

Does anyone know how to fix the non functioning TV guide? I use it all the time and would like to get it working again. I've retuned the tv but without success.

What model is it?

It's a KDL-40W-5500

I emailed Sony and they told me to restore factory settings. All working like a Swiss Watch now.
