Black/white BMW M5 V10

Anybody knows the story on the black/white BMW M5 V10 parked on Houx?

It was heavily spoilered, sounded AWESOME, Brembo big brake kit, looked brand new. Spoiler kit looked like custom made?

Car had an expensive gearbox problem - it was stuck in 1st gear.

Either that, or he spent the whole week driving like a tt.

That is/was not an M5, I saw the offside rear valance stoved in which revealed it not having the M5 exhaust system, more like a 525 set-up. A dogs dinner!

It definitely sounded M5ish when it drove past Bleu Sud. He floored it and it sounded georgeous!!!

It's an extra provided by BMW for anyone going to France.It locks out every gear except 1st and reverse to make sure it stays within the French motorway speed limit.

Hahaha 525 set-up....you definitely only SAW it and didn't HEAR it...

I saw it drive past my camp on Houx.

Sounded awesome but the rear end was awful. Definitely a turd rolled in glitter.

It was parked next to us.

Definitely a turd rolled in glitter. Originally it was BMW burgundy, definitely not an M5 and sounded ghastly.

It was slammed to the floor and had zero suspension travel and the gimp driving it spent most of the weekend cuddled up to a tyre he had in the back of it. There was nothing else inside, apart from the filler cap for the fuel tank and part of a cage.

We saw/heard it get on the motorway at tetre rouge, if that was a 525 engine i'll eat my hat !
It sounded like a v10 with no cats to me.

I asked him, it was a M5.
He was there last year as well, but then it was matte black. you see it allot in the youtube mad friday compilations

I thought this car looked and sounded awful. What was going on with the rear bumper? The guy drove it round it 1st gear the whole time giving out a painfully loud engine noise.
If this is an M5 then he has totally ruined it!
