Tried to advertise my TVR Griffith with PH yesterday, and by the time I got to the final stage it jumped to 'Fiat Abarth'. I went round the loop three times correcting it each time but it still kept going to Fiat Abarth.

So I clicked 'submit' anyway, thinking I could move it afterwards. But I can't, neither can I edit the advert. I had a few photos lined up but couldn't see how to upload them. Links saying 'upload' didn't do anything; dragging just gave me a big photo.

I can see 'manage my advert' but it's stuck in stone, with no photos, as a Fiat Abarth. Could some kind soul assist please?

Hi Matt,

Thanks very much for putting the advert in the right place smile

Now how do I add photos? 'Manage my advert' doesn't appear to have any facility other than 'view live' and 'delete'.

For a quick idiot-proof workaround can I e-mail them to you and ask you to do the biz?

wavey

I really could do with some photos please; nobody's going to buy it otherwise as it won't show in the default 'newest with photos' and the days are ticking by.

OK so I decided to start all over again.

From 'Select your advert category' I select 'TVR'. Good so far.

But... the second drop-down box gives the options '500, 595, 695 and Punto Evo'. There are not TVRs, they are Fiats. I thought this had been fixed?

Perhaps I can ignore this part and carry on. I enter all the description and click 'Continue'.

But it says '! Model is required'.

So I can only sell a Fiat?

ETA. Decided to proceed anyway. Get to 'add photos' screen. Try dragging first image into big grey box - it opens in Firefox but that is all. So I try clicking 'Photo 1 upload' and a browsing window opens. I select the image file and click 'open' but the window just disappears.

Can someone with the power to upload photos PLEASE contact me so I can mail them over and they can upload them for me?

You seem to be getting Abarth models on the model drop down. Which browser are you using?

Also, are you supplying a VRM? If so, it should automatically detect what make/model you're selling.

Your best bet is to contact adverts@pistonheads.com or to call Katie directly at 08720 551 551.

Firefox 21.0 it seems.

Yes. It detects a lot but not the category it seems!

I did see the premium rate number but avoided it; I'll try an e-mail instead.

Thanks and here's hoping....!

Let Katie help you with the photos.

I'd still like to see why this is happening. Can you e-mail me your VRM so I can have a closer look?
