I THINK its another ex press / factory car Andy, or certainly one that is somehow related.

If you check out the TVR Travelling Circus article (Autocar 21 October 1987) there is a 420 SEAC with D849 OOM), so it could be that TVR registered another group with consecutive numbers.

I'm sure I've seen it somewhere else too, possibly spaced as D84 8OOM...
