Suffering badly this year. Just not getting head back into work.

Even watching the recorded Eurosport footage (stunning footage in HD) isn't helping for long.

Next June feels a long long way off :-(

Hoping talking about it helps the healing process!

Something that may help (from one post LM blues sufferer to another). There is a possibility that next years race is held on the 14th-15th June, which is only 51 weeks from the 2013 race. Not even a full year to wait until we are all back at La Sarthe! smile

I pity the wife. I've been a right grumpy chops since arriving home about 10pm Monday. I think it's the sudden come down from sausages, kebabs and local ales which does the damage.

The sudden come down from unlimited man stuff, car geek heaven. Winding down from just days all about beer/wine/food and cars.

Totally gutted. Great, great Le Mans, but is it just me or did the awful news of Allan Simonsen also leave another layer of the sad reality of returning home?

I haven't started watching any recorded Eurosport coverage yet, i'm saving that for the real lows!! My next trip will be no earlier than 2015 as we have a baby on the way and leaving my wife with an 8 month year old might not be fair. I did buy an official Le Mans outfit for my future son this year though, so he can sit and and watch the 2014 race on telly with me!

This was my first year at Le Mans, and I'm suffering badly. June 2014 is indeed a long way off. frown
