Time to say goodbye, for a while..
Discussion
Well, Saturday just gone was a bad day.
After 18 months of owning my deam car, my cherished 4ltr Chimaera, I had to say goodbye. I was/am heartbroken.
Why? well I just wasn't driving it. I live too close to work to drive (wouldn't of got out of 2nd in the 5 miles to work!) and had no time at weekends due to decorating and renovating our new house. I bought the car to drive it and enjoy it. These cars need, no demand, to be driven. I never wanted to be someone who locks the car up for weeks at a time.
So, whoever out there gets P994 LLN, it is a beautiful car, never had any problems with it, and it was on the button every time.
So it is time to say goodbye for a while. I will still be coming to all the meets (if I am allowed
) and as soon as I can, I will be back.
Made some great friends through TVR ownership.
In case you are interested, I replaced it with a Smart Roadster, what a hoot
Thanks to you all for the help and advice..

swilly - nah, the wife was nearly as gutted as me. I can drive the Smart to work, as it is only 700cc of turbo power
It is made for short commutes, so I drive it daily. And on days like today I don't miss walking, who needs to be healthy anyway.
Although the wife is a lot more keen to drive this one!

There is always the Berkshire meet the following Tuesday...
A quick blat up the A33 towards Reading, in the Swan pub at 3 mile cross before the M4.
Again about 7.30 to 8...Finish about 10.30-11.
Dare I say it...
Hampshire Region a bit crazy and like a beer when out and about...
Berkshire Region a bit more staid..
